The Blue Trees by Konstantin Dimopoulos, is a social art action. He paints trees with a ‘biologically safe pigmented water’ to make a statement about how important trees are to our survival. The color will naturally degrade over a period of months. Seattle’s trees turned color on April 2nd, 2012, and will likely remain that way through the summer. “Through colour I am making a personal statement about the spirituality of trees and their importance to our very survival: trees are the lungs of the planet”.

CCS.
41.83. Whatever. Not a PR or anything. It wasn’t really CCS itself that was amazing, it was the whole season leading up to it. Finally in varsity, I saw how large the world of track is. There are always people better than you. Luckily, most of them are pretty nice. I made lots of friends on my way to leagues, then SCVALS, then CCS. Tons of invitationals let me meet people from all over the bay, and it all culminated in a meet where I saw everyone that I met over the season.
I also got some competition. The lazy Lucas Raineri decided to step his game up this year and learn to run incredibly fast. I struggled to keep up with him during workouts and at races. It put a whole new spin on track for me, as I drove myself to try harder and harder. He’s awesome though.
Oh. And I met a girl. Or got to know one better at least.

I was going to say that the 16 fl. oz. bottle of Ramune in a bottle for 99 cents today was the best deal I’ve seen for a consumable item, or in fact for any item, in a long time.
Then I saw that my mom bought an 8 inch pineapple upside-down cake for 3 dollars.
